Life can be challenging at times, particularly as we age. Older adults and seniors can require inpatient behavioral health services for a variety of reasons, whether as the result of a life-long mental illness now compounded by aging, significant life events like a death in the family, or complications and side effects from multiple medications. Through our inpatient program, we support patients with both individual and group therapies, medication management, mental health education and management of many medical issues. Patients are not only supervised by our board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists but also closely monitored by a medical physician to ensure overall health and well-being.
We recognize family members play a vital role in a loved one's long-term recovery, and we are deeply committed to supporting families in distress. Oceans offers family and caregiver therapy programs designed to provide emotional support throughout the journey, as well as education about behavioral changes and tools to support loved ones. Oceans facilities accept Medicare and most private insurance.
